Key Resources Applied in Smart City Búzios

The use of technologies in cities for energy efficiency, mobility and logistics are becoming more common, because they promote time saving, practicality in their daily activities, social and cultural integration. According to Búzios City Hall (2019), the region is a tourist spot, located in the tropical South American subcontinent, bathed by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, sunny for much of the year and enjoying its 23 beaches. The city is known for being the first Smart City in which it seeks to develop sustainable and smart sources without its infrastructure. So that the objective of understanding a smart city and its applications is imaginable, during the structure of the article are presented the introduction and the theoretical references pertinent to the understanding of a smart city, in order to adjust the knowledge on the theme and perspective approached. Being theoretical concepts found in books, magazines and websites of the branch and interpretations that help in a good understanding during the reading, being soon after explained the methodology applied to the study in which it was involved in qualitative, descriptive, and bibliographic research. Finally, the analysis and results of research on projects and activities carried out in Búzios are exposed, as well as other cities that are adapting to these projects, which are used by cities for better execution, control and management of their projects and thus mentioning commonalities found between them. Finally, the considerations about what was obtained, and the conclusions are developed, thus ending this research.
