Processes and Advantages in Exporting Services to Malaysia

Abstract

In this article, the academic work is presented, focused on the Foreign Trade course, the Project III discipline, with an emphasis on the export of services, to the country of Malaysia. For this work, all cultural, economic and social aspects of the country were evaluated, so that the services provided can be effective, respecting any and all rules imposed by the country. Since its independence, Malaysia has had one of the best economic records in Asia, with the economy growing at an average of 6.5% per year. The economy has traditionally been fueled by its natural resources, but is expanding in the science, tourism, commerce and especially the services sector. Currently, Malaysia has a newly industrialized market economy, ranking 3rd in Southeast Asia and being the 29th largest economy in the world. The service sector is one of the sectors that has grown the most in recent years and, to create a self-sufficient capacity for national development, Malaysia has privatized some of its military installations since the 1970s. The objective of the project is to detail the advantages in process of exporting services, and cite as a specific example, the export of services in the creation of logistics condominiums, an area that has seen rapid growth in Brazil and in many countries around the world, including Malaysia, which has experienced this moment in recent years and has been a strategic country in this segment.
