Sustainability in the Financial and Logistics Areas in Brazil

This article addresses the importance of sustainability in the financial and logistics areas, which demonstrates the main points for development in companies, such as green bonds, reverse logistics and green logistics. Sustainability is the basis for companies to operate in the present without depleting resources for the future, according to the UN (1987). Taken together, the sustainability tripod integrates the economic, social and environmental spheres in which companies consider the impacts of their activities in the long term. The exploratory and bibliographic methodology brought a broad view of the subjects covered, which clarifies the main sustainable points of the related areas through the articles. The content is constantly evolving, therefore there is a lack of information, especially about green logistics, which was not found in all production processes, which leads to environmental impacts, such as gas emissions. In addition, green bonds do not have a standard for monitoring investments in sustainable projects. It is understood that mutual collaboration will be necessary to build a more sustainable, profitable and optimized place.
