Analysis of Material Storage in a Visual Communication Project

PVS is a small company located in the east of São Paulo and is recognized in the Brazilian market in the branch of products aimed at point of sale as supermarkets, pharmacies, stationery, restaurants and other locations. Due to the increase in sales volume and the frequent desire for loyalty of large customers, the company is faced with the need for greater organization of finishing materials and agility in the production of projects for customers. The company has patio shelves that are intended for storage of such materials as double-sided tapes, eyelets, rivets and elastics. This article intends to approach the current process from the first contact of the customer to the dispatch of the sample and the place of storage of raw materials for making samples in visual communication projects, ending with propositions of equipment that will bring better identification for the materials and a proposal of physical arrangement for better efficiency of the storage process.
