Humanitarian logistics and the distribution of the covid-19 vaccine by air

The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered a global race to vaccinate the world's population en masse, and humanitarian logistics has been vital in this process, providing all kinds of assistance. The performance of the company studied, through the use of its logistics infrastructure, contributed significantly at this time of national crisis. This study sought to present the distribution of immunizers since their arrival in Brazil, how they were shared, kept refrigerated and the importance of good logistics management. The use of this mode of transport was a strategic solution, allowing rapid mobilization and access to remote or hard-to-reach regions. In order to achieve this objective, data was collected on the distribution of these thermolabels through the research company. The collaboration of humanitarian logistics in this process demonstrated the importance of cooperation between different sectors in dealing with global crises.
