Technology represents a logistics differential permeated by innovations, in a scenario of rapid changes. The logistics area is undergoing increasing expansion, appreciation, and technological diversification, evidencing how necessary it is to implement a Transportation Management System (TMS) to ensure the rapid dispatch of orders. The general objective of this bibliographic research study is to discuss the effectiveness of implementing a TMS system in company X in the e-commerce sector with logistics operations focusing on the boxing sector, and to propose improvements in the packing process in the boxing sector. The results show that through the TMS system it is possible to establish goals for optimizing deliveries, since in the company analyzed, there is a need to reduce logistics processes, so that the purchase completion and product dispatch stages are carried out more quickly and accurately. It is concluded that the improvement actions reduce the order processing and dispatch time.
