This article analyzes how Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft built prestigious brands in the technology sector between 2000 and 2024 by applying branding principles traditionally associated with luxury. The research, which is qualitative and descriptive in nature, is based on a systematic literature review and a comparative case study. The results indicate that the symbolic value of these brands is not limited to price but stems from the coherence among design, ecosystem, and customer experience. Apple consolidated an aesthetic and ritualized luxury, supported by minimalist design and immersive experiences. Amazon built a functional luxury, based on convenience, logistical efficiency, and the indispensability of services like Prime. Microsoft, on the other hand, achieved professional prestige, founded on credibility, interoperability, and high-value corporate solutions. The study concludes that branding in the technology market creates hybrid forms of luxury, sustained by narratives, ecosystems, and data governance. Managerial implications highlight the importance of strategic coherence, transparency, and sustainability as levers for trust and differentiation.
