This study comprehensively examines how virtual reality (VR) simulators can enhance learning in arc welding processes compared to training on real welding equipment. By creating a safe and controlled virtual environment, this technology allows training to take place without the risks associated with real-world settings. Virtual reality enables students to practice welding immersively, avoiding exposure to hazardous materials and adding a vital layer of safety. Our analysis delves into the simulator's effects on training efficiency, particularly highlighting the positive impact of immediate feedback, which accelerates skill development and comprehension of techniques. Moreover, this approach promotes resource savings, including materials and energy. The results indicate educational and economic benefits, underscoring the growing importance of this technology in training specialized welding professionals.
