This article analyzed the impact of the current scenario on professionals' mental health and Quality of Life at Work (QWL), as well as the strategies adopted by organizations to improve the work environment in this context. The qualitative research involved 11 professionals from small to large companies in São Paulo, with established QWL Programs. The results revealed that, amid so much uncertainty and the need for a quick response, the so-called VUCA world has generated significant anxiety and stress in professionals, emphasizing the relevance of mental health in the workplace. Companies responded by implementing measures such as psychological support programs, workplace gymnastics and a more humanized management approach. Additionally, hybrid work has become common, allowing for greater flexibility. Professionals also suggested improvements, such as more effective monitoring of their needs. This study highlights the importance of adapting and meeting the needs of employees in a work environment in the current context, providing valuable information for companies to promote mental health and QWL.
