Educational management systems are standard in public institutions of higher education, as they organize the daily life of the academic community. Applications that help teaching and learning are essential, and this tool's perceived usability is an important aspect for teachers. This work uses Microsoft Teams as a reference platform for evaluating usability, given that Centro Paula Souza adopted it for all teaching units. For evaluation purposes, a questionnaire was applied with demographic questions such as age, teacher presence in the institution in 2020, level of education, and the System Usability Scale. Of the 155 teachers, only 55 participated voluntarily. Demographic factors had little influence on the result. Still, the area of activity seemed to influence the evaluation, which may indicate an effect of the constant use of other software in this area. Results show a low general assessment of the usability of Teams, specifically of the teachers who were forced to use them, which may indicate a not very good experience resulting from the pandemic period.
