Cartography, defined as the use of maps for locating by means of geometric and simple low-scale figures, common in antiquity, was the main form of locomotion and setting up routes in order to carry out deliveries, but due to its low accuracy and difficult handling nowadays this becomes obsolete, being replaced by current forms of routing via GPS. Through a logistical case study, based on a qualitative methodology, it is proposed to improve the routes of a large company born in the interior of southeastern Brazil, using as main tool, the Solver application present in Microsoft Excel, aiming to reduce costs, but having operational gain, for the delivery of basic baskets in its branches, the development of the project took place in conjunction with the Design Thinking methodology, wishing to create a greater link with the problem for the administration of resources and improvements, with the results, it was possible to obtain a significant optimization in the number of kilometers to be traveled on the cooperative's routes, thus concluding the importance of good logistical planning for cost reduction.
