Abstract

This article discusses the "Memori" project, an Augmented Reality (AR) application created to promote heritage education among teenagers at the KKKK Architectural Complex (from Japanese: Kaigai, Kogyo, Kabushiki, Kaisha) in Registro, São Paulo, aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 of the United Nations (UN). Memori uses AR to offer interactive historical trails with audio description and quizzes, transforming learning into an immersive experience. The goal is to democratize access to culture and strengthen the sense of belonging and historical responsibility among young people. The application's development includes an intuitive and functional interface, ensuring interactive content and accessibility for different learning needs. Case studies demonstrate that AR increases student engagement and understanding, highlighting its educational and cultural potential. By integrating education and technology, Memori seeks to positively impact the community through its interactive content, contributing to the preservation of the collective memory of local heritage.
