This study aimed to explore the integration of cargo transport management and applications developed using artificial intelligence to meet market demands. To this end, exploratory research was carried out, with data collected through a script from five managers of cargo transport companies and users of artificial intelligence applications. In an effort to obtain more accurate results, the sample of five managers was subjected to the resampling method, with replacement, for 500 means of the original sample, to obtain standard errors, confidence intervals and carry out significance tests. The resampling distribution obtained was subjected to multiple linear regression to predict an empirical theoretical model for cargo transport management. The results revealed that all the companies that took part in the research used digital technologies to operate their activities, cargo transport management and artificial intelligence had an impact on performance, however, artificial intelligence did not moderate in significance ( 0.05), the relationship between cargo transport management and performance. Given these results, it was possible to conclude that, in complex networks where manufacturers, modes of transport, distribution terminals, among others, acted in a fragmented way, and that there are windows of opportunities, through the use of digital technologies, to generate innovative strategic processes of collective mobility intelligence in cargo transport.
